The mission of the Energy Transition Network (ETN or The Network) is to develop the next generation of new materials, processes, basic science, and human talent necessary to fulfill the energy goals and demands of the future.

The Network is a program of the Energy Technologies Initiative, which originates at the UChicago Pritzker School of Molecular Engineering and serves as a core pillar of the Institute for Climate and Sustainable Growth. The Network convenes experts from the University of
Chicago, including the Physical Sciences Division, Argonne National Laboratory, and industry in a collaborative environment to advance energy resilience.
